About Me

Hi Parents and New Students!

Welcome to first-grade! My name is Michelle Miles and I am your child's first-grade teacher this year.  This is my 16th year of teaching (and 16th year here at our school) and I am so excited to begin our year together.  I received my Bachelor of Science in Special Education from Monmouth University and my Master's Degree in the Art of Teaching from Marygrove College. Before teaching first-grade I was a Special Education teacher for four years here at Nut Swamp. I am also a Mom to three fun-loving boys!! My family and I enjoy going on trips to Disney World in our RV, playing with our dogs Scrunchie and Everest, and cuddling our kittens Cappy and Tiara. I am looking forward to getting to know each and every one of you this year!
